Who We Are
Belonging begins
with a story and a
shared meal.
Enroot is a global storytelling movement that uses food, culture, and memory to build belonging across differences. Founded by Dr. Elika Dadsetan-Foley — a global social impact leader, Iranian-American immigrant, and cultural connector.
“Food is one of the oldest technologies
of connection.”
Every dish carries a history, every spice holds a memory, and every table is a
place where community can grow. Enroot brings people together in ways that are
simple, human, and deeply needed right now.
Our Mission
To cultivate belonging by bringing people together through shared meals, cultural memory, and story-driven experiences that honor identity, heritage, and humanity.
Our Vision
A world where people know how to sit together across differences, honor one another's stories, and build communities rooted in compassion, curiosity, and care.
Our Values

Everyone deserves a seat at the table
Story
